We believe the Bible to be verbally inspired, without mistakes as originally written, and the only trustworthy written guide for life and godliness.  We believe the Bible reveals God as the only source of love and righteousness, man’s fall into unbelief and disobedience, God’s forgiveness of man’s sin debt, and God’s divine plan and loving purpose to make new creation saints of all who believe and receive Him through faith-trust.

We believe God is the One and only true God, existing eternally and equally in power as three persons – Father, Creator Son, and Holy Spirit Indweller.

We believe there are two indwelling spirits in God’s design; the Spirit of Righteousness, the only source of life and righteousness, and the spirit of unrighteousness, the only source of sin and death – the same spirit that now works in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2).  Therefore, we believe sinners are indwelled by the “sin nature” spirit and saints are indwelled by the “righteous nature Spirit” – the righteousness of God (divine nature – 2 Peter 1:4), and cannot be indwelled by both simultaneously.

We believe in the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, blood shedding and flesh body death on a cross, glorified body resurrection, ascension into heaven at the right hand of God, and soon coming return of Jesus Christ.

We believe the gospel of the grace of Christ is the only Way to salvation (being made the righteousness of God “by grace through faith” alone), plus nothing and minus nothing (not of works).  The conditions for salvation are repentance (turning from unbelief to belief) and faith (ceasing from any and all attempts to secure righteousness on our own terms – those previously held beliefs and behaviors of our former way of life in religion).

We believe saints are no longer under the law but under the grace of Christ.  We believe no amount of “works of righteousness which we have done” can make us more “like God” (as was proposed by Satan in the garden of Eden).  We are made righteous before God only through the finished work of the cross of Christ.  The righteousness of God in the saint establishes the eternal relationship for which God has freely provided and so lovingly desired.

We believe in the present ministry of the indwelling Spirit of God in the life of every saint and that He is their only source for life, godliness, and power to complete the work God has already begun in us.  We believe saints fulfill the desires of their new Father just as sinners fulfill the desires of their father the devil (John 8:44).
